CGU - Amazing Race
	Company: CGU Program: The Amazing Race Objectives: To follow up from the previous year's team activity with something bigger and better Venue: Botanic Gardens, Lavender Bay, Bradfield Park, Circular Quay & The Rocks Group Size: 125 Summary: Thursday 11^th September had been a long time in the making and with Sydney basking in summer sunshine, 125 CGU racers converged on the Botanic Gardens for the start of their Amazing Race. The 25 teams were captained by a CGU Account Manager, who each invited four clients to join them on this adventure. Creatively dressed and proudly representing their adopted countries the teams set off with a charge through the Botanic Gardens, two trips over the harbour sandwiching activities in Lavender Bay, Luna and Bradfield Parks before the race concluded with a dash around Circular Quay. The Glenmore Hotel set up high in The Rocks was the location of the finishing mate, providing the perfect viewing point of all the racers below. In a final flourish team Barbados just pipped their Brazilian counterparts arriving 1^st and were crowned the CGU Amazing Race Champions. Dinner and drinks followed and allowed a tired but exhilarated group to reflect, share war stories and enjoy a relaxing end to an enthralling day. The brilliant Sydney sunshine definitely helped in making this a memorable event but more so was the commitment put in by all the teams. From here we look to bigger and better things and can't wait to work with CGU again in the future. Andy Johnson
