The challenge
The Snapshot program begins with a massive photo quality jigsaw puzzle made from an image that visually represents the theme or aim of the conference. All conference delegates will start with their own piece of the puzzle and the puzzle is erected as a wall of boxes that create an image either on stage or in a breakout room.
Once this first part of the task is complete the participants will be split into team groups that are issued with digital cameras, instructions and a list of creative images that the group must capture. Delegates are required to work in teams and be as creative as possible when capturing the images. Depending on the time frame available a selection of interactive team building activities can be added to this section of the day to increase the benefit of the event.
Once the teams have finished capturing the various images they return to the conference venue and hand the camera back into the BeChallenged staff. Overnight the pictures will be printed and brought back to the conference venue where they will be erected, either on the reverse side of the existing wall or on a new wall.
The resulting wall is a collage of images with all the conference delegates in pictures that represent the theme of the conference. This not only acts as a great backdrop but also as a great icebreaker and talking point for the rest of the conference.
