	Parramatta Heritage & Visitor Centre – Sydney Safari Company: Parramatta Heritage & Visitor Centre Objectives: Team Bonding, Build on Personality Profiling, Enjoy time as a Team Program: Sydney Safari Venue: Taronga Zoo Group Size: 12 Summary: Parramatta Heritage and Visitor Centre came to us having completed a workshop on team behaviours and they now wanted to build on their understanding andsee how these behavioursaffect our communication and teamwork After some deliberation it was decided to take the team out of their home base in Parramatta and take them down the river to Taronga Zoo where the team would participate in our Sydney Safari program. The group were briefed and broken into their teams and enjoyed the journey down Parramatta River whilst completing a heritage challenge which they had helped develop specifically for this group which also showcased their research and local knowledge strengths. Upon arrival at the zoo teams were charged with completing an array of tasks around Taronga with planning being of the utmost importance. Teams had to navigate their way from checkpoints whilst ensuring their maximised their time by completing the extra challenges available. As well as this it was important that the group got a chance to enjoy the zoo, which is one of the most brilliant and picturesque spots in Sydney. At the end of the day the group had enjoyed some good quality time out of the office and had also finally relaxed and let their guards down. As a result of this we saw some excellent forms of teamwork and some good results for the team to build on heading back to the workplace. Overall I think the program was a real success, with an initially apprehensive group growing considerably closer over the course of the program resulting in what will hopefully prove to be a much more productive and enjoyable place at work.
