Thank you for the Be Challenged “Italian Job” that you presented recently at our school.

I have got only praise for such a powerful and engaging day. All students enjoyed your lively and approachable manner. Our focus area of building positive relationships and team work was evident throughout the whole day.

Staff that were present were very impressed as well as amazed on how the students were so connected to each activity. Some of the students who have been challenging over the school year were very responsive.

The next day at school students were talking to their friends about the fantastic day that they had.

I will invite Be Challenged in the near future to continue producing amazing connections with our students and recommend them very highly to any school in search of a wonderful company and instructors who are able to engage and entertain a group of year 8 students.

Testimonial for Be Challenged

In December 2008, St Marys Senior High School was scheduled to offer a three day team building/leadership workshop for approximately 120 year 11 students. As a year advisor I was given the task of devising an innovative program that would engage our senior students and provide them with opportunities to develop their skills working as part of a team.

After exploring a few options I engaged the services of the team from “Be Challenged” which resulted in the most successful program of its type ever run at our school!

The crew from Be Challenged were exceptional! From our initial planning meeting with Kingsley and the great programs he offered, they demonstrated what team work is all about. Nikki in the office provided invaluable support to a first time organiser which required going beyond the call of duty when due to great excitement from our students the numbers increased from 120 to 176.

They were an invaluable group of people to work with in terms of administration and thus were forthcoming with vital information needed when having to put together a risk management plan for participants. This ensured that all the necessary information was provided in accordance with Department of Education and training guidelines.

Our students were fortunate enough to participate in the “Italian Job” and the workshop leaders who came to our school to run the program were highly professional. The students were constantly engaged in many physical and mental challenges that kept even the most distracted students fully engaged. The leaders were highly organised giving the students clear instructions and constantly rotating groups through the various activities. The evaluation of the student team was an effective part of this program.

The students who participated in this program are still talking about it 3 months later as a time at school they will never forget!

It was so popular with our students the day after we finished our program we booked the Be Challenged Team to come back in 2009 and look forward to an ongoing working relationship with this exceptional group.

I would highly recommend this program to other schools and companies looking to challenge their students/staff and at the same time develop effective teams.
