"The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well." Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games.

The challenge
The Beach Olympics is a fantastic way to bring staff together and build teamwork in a friendly yet competitive environment. In the BeChallenged Beach Olympics participants will be split into Countries that will compete during the day over a series of fun events. All the activities during the day employ experiential learning and are designed to improve teamwork, communication and leadership whilst being memorable and above all lots of fun. The activities are also carefully designed to maximise participation rather than excluding people due to physical constraints and as a result promote teamwork and group inclusion.
Teams will be awarded medals throughout the day after each event and after the final event the medal tally will be used to determine the overall winner of the Beach Olympics. At the end of the day when the final medal ceremony is held participants will realise that you don't need years of training to be an Olympian you just need to compete as a team and have fun doing it.
